DEPUTY MANAGER ADULT SERVICES - Closing date 30th november 2018
we are seeking to recruit a deputy manager to co-ordinate, plan and deliver our new service for adults aged 19 to 30.
Experience of working with adults with disabilities/additional needs is essential together with an nvq level 3 or equivalent in health & social care or supervisory management.

Support Workers

As a Support Worker during our Saturday Clubs and holiday activity sessions you will support the children and young people to participate in a range of activities in the local community.  You will support them to make informed choices and the role may include assistance with feeding and personal care.To join us as a Support Worker you will need to have or be working towards a qualification in a childcare related subject or have equivalent experience.
WECAN welcomes and greatly values the help given by volunteers. Their help is welcomed to support and assist our existing team of Support Workers, children and young people.To join us as a Volunteer Support Worker you will need to be aged 16 or over.  We are proud to be able to offer our Volunteers paid employment when they reach the age of 18 provided their work has been successful.
As an Enabler you will provide 1:1 support on a part time basis (hours vary) but usually during weekends and evenings.WECAN is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all Staff and Volunteers to share this commitment.
Enhanced DBS disclosures are required for working or volunteering with WECAN along with proof of identity and proof of the right to work in the United Kingdom.
